A new app is being rolled out that will help drivers and businesses in Dorchester Road, in Melbourne’s west, get on top of the roads repair.
Road Repair Australia (RTA) has launched the Road Repair Mobile App, which will allow users to download the latest update to their phone or tablet.
Users will be able to check if repairs have been made on the road, as well as get notifications when they are available.
The app is available for Android and iOS.
RTA CEO John Burt said the app will be a good start for the community in Dorrisons roads repair infrastructure.
“This will give us more data on what’s happening on our roads,” he said.
Mr Burt, who has been driving for over 40 years, said it was important to help local communities as well. “
It’ll help us get our roads in a more sustainable state.”
Mr Burt, who has been driving for over 40 years, said it was important to help local communities as well.
“There’s an enormous amount of road infrastructure that needs to be maintained, particularly in the outer suburbs of Melbourne,” he told ABC Radio Melbourne.
“I don’t think that the community will understand that until we do this.”
