As Portland prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary this summer, there are many projects underway that will improve the city’s road infrastructure.
One of the largest is a $2.6 billion bridge over the Columbia River that will connect Portland to the Portland International Airport.
It’s expected to open in 2019.
But that bridge is not nearly complete.
Its completion date is now in doubt.
The city has until June to complete the bridge, or it will be delayed by a year.
That’s a huge challenge for the city that already had to spend $5.4 billion to finish the East Burnside Bridge in 2014, a project that also took more than a decade to complete.
For that reason, the city has launched a new campaign called “Keep Portland’s roadways Open” that will encourage the public to help out by donating $10, $20 or $50 to help the city repair the backlog of projects and get the bridge finished by the end of 2019.
Here are some of the projects the city is working on:More than $300,000 in repairsThe city is planning to begin repairing Portland’s bridges and bridges across the state.
The most significant of those projects is the $300 million Portland River Bridge project, which will connect the Columbia and Portland rivers.
The river bridge will connect a span of the Portland and Multnomah rivers at the eastern end of Portland.
The city is still trying to figure out the best way to get the river bridge to the eastern part of Portland safely.
The $300.7 million Portland City Council approved the bridge in March.
The bridge is expected to cost more than $1 billion.
The Oregon Department of Transportation and the Portland Bureau of Transportation are now looking for more funding to complete another bridge that will help connect the city to the Oregon Zoo.
The new bridge will also connect Portland International to the International Airport in Portland.
The next bridge to open will connect to the airport through an underground tunnel, which is about a quarter mile long.
The project is expected cost about $1.5 billion.
Transportation Department staff and contractors are expected to complete work on the new bridge by late 2018.
A $1 million bridge reconstruction in PortlandA $5 million bridge restoration in PortlandIn the meantime, the Portland Public Works Department has been working on a $1-million bridge project that will bring an additional 100 miles of bridges across Portland.
This project will also add a bridge over U.S. 19.
The bridge, known as the U.D. Bridge, was designed by the Portland Design Group.
It is expected replace the U-D Bridge, which has been in use since the early 1990s.
The project is also expected to improve road access between downtown Portland and Beaverton, where a new light rail line is expected.
Ds new bridge also includes new sidewalks and pedestrian bridges.
More than 3,100 bridge-related repairsThe Portland Bureau’s Bridges and Bridges Across the City program is the citywide bridge repair program, which involves funding to make repairs to Portland bridges.
The program is managed by the City Engineer’s Office and includes about 300 projects, including $100 million in repairs to the Columbia Bridge and $15 million in bridge repairs to Multnomia Bridges.
Bridges Across the city will provide funding to the city for bridge-based projects to improve street and bike conditions.
It also will fund bridge rehabilitation and re-purpose projects.
The program’s goal is to repair bridges as they are repaired, but the city can’t wait until a bridge is in a new location before fixing it.
The Portland City Commissioner’s Office also works with the bureau to identify and support bridge projects.
In 2019, the agency is planning a $10 million bridge rehabilitation project to improve pedestrian conditions along the Columbia Corridor.
The federal government’s Transportation Safety Administration is also looking to fund the Portland Bridge rehabilitation project.
The Federal Highway Administration is the agency responsible for overseeing bridge and bridge rehabilitation projects.
